To
whom it may concern:
My
name is Daniuska Larios, I am 23 years old. I have been married for about three
years, and currently am enrolled at the University of Belize ACE program. The
reason as to why am writing is to validate myself as professional, as an
employee, and as a future student of the University of Belize.
I
would like to be given an opportunity to enroll in the pharmacy course, at the
Belmopan campus in order for me to further my knowledge in pharmaceuticals. I
had the opportunity to work for miss. Leslie at Safe Way drug store where I
developed a passion for what I now do. I love the rewarding feeling of knowing
that my knowledge and my work benefited someone in a positive way. For the past
years and a half I have been working as a pharmaceutical technician at Wilmac’s
pharmacy. I have the experience and the background to become more than just a technician.
I would like to become a register pharmacist, and I know I have the motivation
and the willingness to pursue my career. I also know that my high school grades
were not the best and that was the reason as to why I didn't get accepted the
first time. But I can reassure you that am going to do what it takes for me to
be a successful student. I am willing to put the time, and above all am willing
to put in all my effort to successfully complete the course.
I
would like to be given the opportunity to further my education, and to reassure
myself that I can do better for myself regardless of any condition, age, or
status. I am looking forward to become a part of the University of Belize
alumnae in nearest future.
What is anxiety?
Anxiety is a general term for
several disorders that cause nervousness, fear, apprehension, and worrying.
These disorders affect how we feel and behave, and they can manifest real
physical symptoms. Mild anxiety is vague and unsettling, while severe anxiety
can be extremely debilitating, having a serious impact on daily life.
People often experience a general state of
worry or fear before confronting something challenging such as a test,
examination, recital, or interview. These feelings are easily justified and
considered normal. Anxiety is considered a problem when symptoms interfere with
a person's ability to sleep or otherwise function!
Over all I would say that anxiety is in our everyday life, it is important to know that this disorder can be control. Don't take this for granted, and don't let this overcome your life!

Love!!
What is love...love is that warm, fuzzy feeling that you get when you see the guy, that guy that from the moment you met him you knew he was the one! Love can make you do crazy, stupid things. Love can make you or break you. Love can make you touch the sky in one minute, and make you crash down back to earth in the next. Love can make you feel those butterfly in your tummy, and can also make you taste the salty tears, tears that are .1% water and 9.99% feelings. Love can embrace your reality and make your future, the same love that can make you happy and everlasting...that my friends is the love that some of us get to experience once in a life time! The love that touch our door once and if you don't open it in time, you can only see it pass by. The love that brings forth the best in you and the dark side of you. That my friends...is the love that once experience you'll keep coming back for more! That my friends is the joy that endures!!
Daniuska Larios.
Letter's to John
Dear Hon. John:
I am writing in regards of the
crime rate in Belize City and all over the nation. I am presently attending the
University of Belize, and lately our institution has been shaken to its core by
the murder of our fellow classmate Suzanne Martinez. She was a very charm young
lady, full of life and a student with great potential. As a citizen of Belize, am sick and tire of
living I fear. Therefor I have decided to join forces with my fellow Belizeans in a protest.
For the past five years Belizeans
have been living in fear of a stray bullet, of someone entering to our homes
while we are at work, and above all, we are even afraid to go out of our homes
to recreational purpose. In addition, I am a concern citizen, who has organized
neighborhood watches, installed cameras on my front porch, and informed the
police of any abnormality around me.
I am not trying to teach you how
to do your job, but as a concern citizen of Belize I would love to see more police officer on
duties, I am also suggesting surveillance cameras on the streets, and for you
as the national head of security to reinforce the law. Also offer the public
alternative on either witness protection or change of identification. So they
can feel free to come forth and testify against the criminals, and not live in
fear for their lives.
